As part of our local community’s effort to promote environmental awareness, Ripon Together alongside Ripon BID and Ripon Racecourse are organising a Business and Sustainability evening on the 4th June, to encourage local businesses to engage in initiatives to improve their energy efficiency, or to take advantage of government grant opportunities.
Featuring local case studies, expert presentations and supplier showcases, the packed schedule will be concluded with an evening of racing, to allow organisations to intermingle socially as well as for business.
The Ripon Together Green Fair does not attract many business people, and this event is the first step to equating local enterprises with the efforts made by churches and schools in the region. Alongside the local sponsor, Energy Oasis, we have put together a programme that mixes business conversation, primarily between organisations and with suppliers, who will have stalls at the event, with pleasure – all participants will have the chance to attend an evening of racing, for networking in social setting. It promises to be a fantastic step forward in the environmental initiatives of local businesses.
