Ripon Theatre Festival: Drama at the Workhouse

Following on from the success of last year’s Jubilee at the Workhouse, the museum will once again come alive with Victorian characters based on real lives.

We will be exploring basic drama techniques, movement and characterisation and participants will be able to explore creating a character or an improvised scene from records of former inmates of Ripon Union Workhouse.

The workshops will take place at 10.30am and 1pm and will each last two hours.

These are free workshops although usual museum admission charges apply.
