Summer of Play – Friends of Hell Wath Free Family Fun Activity Day
FOHW in partnership with the Skell Valley Project are offering a free Forest Schools activity session and wildlife exploring. Try whittling a stick, toasting marshmallows, making nature crowns, make sparks with a fire steel, wildflower spot and insect sweep in bushes.
The activity area is accessible for wheelchair users. If you or your child has specific needs (such as autism) please make staff aware on arrival. We are happy to be guided as to the best way of accommodating the needs of individuals.
You do not need to book, just turn up any time between 1pm and 3pm and sign in at the Panthers Club House, Hell Wath Lane and then be guided to the activity area. This is a family event so an adult must stay with children although all activities are run by trained personnel including the Skell Valley Project Countryside Ranger.
